LRG strengthens Midlands land pipeline with new graduate hire

New LRG graduate appointment reflects focus on nurturing future talent as land and development activity expands across regional markets.

Annabelle Pick LRGLRG has appointed a new graduate to its Land & Development team, underlining the growing importance of nurturing new talent in an evolving estate agency landscape.

Annabelle Pick joins the business as Graduate Land Consultant, supporting activity across the East Midlands, West Midlands and South Yorkshire – regions identified as key to sourcing both strategic and immediate land opportunities.

A first-class Real Estate graduate from Nottingham Trent University, Pick will take on a broad role including site sourcing, planning research, bid management and reporting to landowners.

Next generation

The appointment comes as agencies increasingly look to build future capability amid changing market conditions and rising demand for land-led opportunities.

David Hutchinson, Land & Planning Director at LRG, said: “In the past eight years, our Midlands Land & Development team has built a strong portfolio of sites, adding to it year on year as projects move through the planning and disposal process.

“Bringing in a new graduate is the logical next step as we continue to grow, supporting our organic development as well as our commitment to career progression and developing the next generation of land professionals. I’m delighted to welcome Annabelle and look forward to supporting her on her journey with us.”

Pick added: “I’m really pleased to be joining LRG at such an exciting time for the team. Land and development is a hugely varied area of the industry, and one that plays a key role in delivering the homes the country needs. I’m looking forward to learning from the team and contributing across this growing part of the business.”

The move reflects a wider trend across the property sector, with agencies placing greater emphasis on training and long-term talent pipelines as the industry adapts to new demands around planning, development and supply.
