LRG expansion ‘builds momentum’ with Midlands acquisition
Industry blue-chip has acquired four-branch market-town specialist Osprey Property, extending its presence into areas where it previously had limited coverage.

LRG has continued its expansion drive with the acquisition of East Midlands sales and lettings estate agency Osprey Property, its second multi-branch acquisition in just three weeks.
Osprey Property is a well-established independent market-town business with branches in Oakham, Stamford, Oundle and Melton Mowbray. It was founded in 2005 by shareholders James Turcan and Robert Brown and is known for its strong local focus.
According to LRG, it will continue trading under its existing brand within the group, and all staff will remain with the business, including Managing Director Graham Freeman (left of picture), who rejoins LRG having worked for them five years previously.
This is another significant acquisition and another strong step in our strategy to partner with high-quality multi-branch regional agencies.”
Matthew Light (right of picture), Group Mergers & Acquisitions Director at LRG, says: “This is another significant acquisition and another strong step in our strategy to partner with high-quality multi-branch regional agencies. We are delighted to expand our footprint into three new towns within an area where we already have a growing presence.”
strong momentum
The deal follows LRG’s recent purchase of the Northern Estate Agencies Group, which Light says contributes to the “strong momentum” behind the Group’s recent acquisition activity. He adds that LRG is working on several further opportunities and is already building its pipeline for 2026.
Freeman says: “Joining LRG is an exciting step for Osprey. We’ve built a loyal customer base and strong local teams, and being part of a larger group will enable us to continue delivering the personal service we’re known for, with the added benefit of national support and investment.”
Osprey Property is a trading name of Residential Property Group Ltd.
