Rising rents

Cavendish PR issued a press release just days ago, which claimed rents were rising to an average of £1,384 a month.

Ed Phillips was quoted in the release, speaking about resilience of the rental market. It comes at a turbulent time for the rental market, which has gone through the biggest regulatory changes in a generation.

He said: “The UK rental market has carried strong momentum through the year so far, with rents continuing to rise across both major cities and more rural locations, reflecting resilient and growing demand in many parts of the country.”
