Alongside the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event featured support from a number of independent businesses, with complimentary refreshments, family activities and a charity raffle raising funds for the Leigh Lionesses FC under-15 girls’ team, which is sponsored by Durden & Hunt.

Important milestone

James Hunt, Founder of Durden & Hunt (far right, main image), said: “Opening our Leigh-on-Sea branch marks another important milestone for Durden & Hunt. Leigh has always been a location we wanted to be part of, not only because of its exceptional property market but because of its strong sense of community.

“Our ambition has always been to create offices that become part of the places they serve. So seeing so many residents and local businesses supporting our launch was a fantastic welcome and we’re excited to build lasting relationships across Leigh-on-Sea.”

The new office, which is its seventh across Essex and London in seven years, offers a contemporary, welcoming environment with distinctive design features including a full- size feature tree and illuminated property displays.

It will serve buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants across Leigh-on-Sea, Southend, Chalkwell, Rayleigh, Thorpe Bay and the surrounding area.
