Acaboom launches AI tool to identify homeowners most likely to instruct

The Behaviour Intelligence capability from Acaboom analyses millions of homeowner interactions to help agents prioritise follow-ups and tailor conversations.

Acaboom graphicAcaboom has launched Behaviour Intelligence, a new AI-powered capability designed to help estate agents identify which market appraisals are most likely to convert and determine who to follow up with first.

Built using millions of homeowner interactions captured through Acaboom over more than a decade, the technology analyses how homeowners engage with proposals after a market appraisal, including repeat views, content revisited and questions asked about valuations, fees and marketing.

The data suggests these behaviours can provide useful indicators of instruction intent. Across Acaboom, 88% of won instructions involved a homeowner viewing their presentation, compared with 42% of lost opportunities. Homeowners who returned to a proposal for a second time were 38% more likely to instruct than those who viewed it once, rising to a 90% uplift among those engaging three or more times.

Reading behaviour

According to Acaboom, much of this activity takes place after the valuer has left, as homeowners continue considering which agent to instruct.

Behaviour Intelligence identifies patterns including repeated proposal views, sections revisited, time spent on key content and engagement with valuation, marketing and fees. AI Concierge conversations can also contribute to the assessment of homeowner intent.

The technology is designed to help agents interpret these signals rather than simply report activity, identifying which opportunities should be prioritised and the topics or concerns that may be most relevant when an agent makes contact.

Brian Farrell, Founder of Acaboom, said: “Estate agents have never been short of people to follow up. They’ve been short of knowing who deserves their attention first.

“Behaviour Intelligence helps answer that question using real homeowner behaviour rather than gut feel.

“But identifying who to contact is only half the story. The real value is helping agents understand why a homeowner is engaging and what they’re likely to want to discuss before the conversation even begins.

For years, technology has shown agents what homeowners did. AI now gives us the ability to interpret those behaviours at scale and help agents understand what they mean.”

Behaviour Intelligence is available immediately to Acaboom customers and operates within the existing platform, without requiring a separate dashboard or system.
