Miles & Barr presented Pilgrims Hospice Margate with a cheque of £28,523.86, all raised in 2016.

Steve Cort, Marketing Director, said, “It was great to have so many people come to the presentation and a massive thanks to all involved who provide such an amazing service for so many people in need.

“Our commitment to donate £10 for every ‘sales exchange’ and £5 for every ‘lettings move in’ totalled at a whopping £26,010. This provided the bulk of our donation, however we did have some fun for the other monies raised along the way.

“An ‘It’s a Knockout’ event, run by Pilgrims Hospices raised £897; our stand at Broadstairs Folk Week added £686 and the Westgate Christmas fayre raffle raise £930. We are delighted with the effort, generosity and result and look forward to raising even more for local charities.”
