Acorn Group opens 40th branch, doubling network in ten years

Company that includes three agency brands is also looking to buy agencies across sales, lettings and property management disciplines, says Group CEO.

Multi-disciplinary South London and southern England estate agency The Acorn Group has opened its 40th branch in the Kentish town of Sevenoaks.

acornThe opening, which the group says will be its flagship branch in the county under one of the three brands its operates under, Langford Russell. The other two brands are Acorn and Johns Payne.

This latest cold start, which is offering a 0% sales fee until 30th June, means the group has doubled its branch network via new offices and acquisition in just ten years under the leadership of its chairman

Rob Sargent, who opened the firm’s initial office in Grove Park, South London, in 1984.

He is also well-known as one of the key industry figures to lead the #SayNoToRightmove campaign during Covid.

The new is in a prime high street position in Sevenoaks and benefits from a luxurious state-of-the-art refit (see right).

chris acorn sevenoaksIts team will be led by area manager Chris Salt (pictured) and branch boss Paul Reid who have over 40 years of agency experience between them.

They are joined by a handpicked group of property professionals who will deliver a complete raft of services from sales and lettings to land, commercial, new homes and financial services.
