£100k milestone for mental health charity

Hamptons has reached a significant fundraising milestone for its mental health charity partner, Mind.

Mental Health, Hamptons

Since partnering with mental health charity, Mind, in May 2022 Hamptons, has successfully raised £100,000.

Over this period, Hamptons has arranged numerous fundraising activities, from the Three Peaks Challenge, to bake sales, running marathons, bike rides, raffles and much more, all to help raise money for this worthy cause, but it was their recent ‘Rally the Regions’ initiative that took them to the milestone.

Launched in July, the company-wide initiative challenged the regions of the business to organise and host their own fundraising activities during a set week. Across the 90 offices in the network, events such as the Beaconsfield branch’s climbing wall challenge, St Albans 500km stationary bike ride, and Brighton and Hove’s raffle contributed to reaching the £100k mark.

Lesley Cairns, Managing Director at Hamptons, commented: “Since partnering with Mind in 2022, it has been a privilege to dedicate our efforts to raising money and awareness for such a worthy cause. At Hamptons, we are fully aware of the devastating impact a mental health problem can have on the person experiencing it, as well as their families and friends, and we are keen to support this in any way we can. Raising £100,000 for Mind can enable the charity to pick up the phone to 10,500 people with nowhere else to turn or keep its online peer community open for three months, 24/7.

“Over the last 2 years, we have come together in so many imaginative ways to fundraise for this important charity, and I am thrilled with the results. As a business, we feel passionate about this meaningful cause and are committed to continuing to help in any way we can.”
