Agents Giving supports two charities close to the hearts of agents

At the EA Masters event last week, Agents Giving alongside Women in Estate Agency were given the opportunity to fundraise for Breast Cancer Now in memory of Sarah Edmundson, a much-loved friend and colleague.

An original member of the Women in Estate Agency Group, Sarah had a huge impact on the property industry with everyone who knew and worked with her. An impressive £20,000 was raised for Breast Cancer Now, with the aim of taking this to £50,000 to keep Sarah’s legacy alive.

Peter Knight, Founder of Best Estate Agent Guide and EA Masters and Agents Giving Board Member, commented: “Thank you to our amazing audience and delegates at EA Masters, who following an incredibly moving video and speech to honour Sarah, raised a significant amount to the Breast Cancer Now fund. We were privileged to be able to make such an impact to the charity that meant so much to Sarah”.

Pedal power

October also saw The Great British Property Cycle raising over £15,000 for Trussell, which aims to end hunger. Agents Giving supporters took on the challenge of cycling any distance during the month, be it on a road or mountain bike outside or on a static bike at home or in the officer.

Each participant was asked raise a minimum of £100 and were encouraged to get colleagues and family members involved.
