Baking the £1500 cake!

The Home Partnership recently held a charity cake auction at their Chelmsford Branch, for Children In Need. Every member of staff had to put their baking skills to the test and make a cake. These were then auctioned to friends, family, clients, solicitors and other local businesses.

The agency brought in a professional auctioneer, Paul Bridgeman from Clive Emson. They had 12 cakes which were auctioned to an audience of about 60 people, which raised an impressive £1,458.09!

This was the fourth time The Home Partnership has staged this event, holding them every other year. Every year they raise more and more money for Children in Need.
