Beresfords brews up community spirit with latest clean up in Maldon
Essex property group, Beresfords, is calling on local residents and businesses to come together for its latest Communitea clean-up initiative.
Following the success of its previous events, Beresfords’ Communitea initiative is returning to Essex next week – this time in the town of Maldon.
Local residents and businesses are being urged to join the clean up event, which will take place on 28th August at 3pm starting outside All Saints Church in the High Street.
Volunteers will be provided with equipment and are encouraged to bring their energy and enthusiasm for the cause to help keep towns cleaner and encourage pride in local spaces.
To thank everyone for their efforts, each Communitea event wraps up with a well-earned cup of tea and biscuits – to refuel and enjoy relaxed networking among members of the community and local business scene.
A load of rubbish
Previous events in Brentwood, Colchester, Chelmsford, Billericay & Upminster saw almost 60 volunteers collect 64 bags of rubbish from the town centres.
The cleanup forms part of Beresfords’ wider ‘Propertea’ campaign, which aims to ensure people’s property needs are always met, where their customers are understood and listened to. A further extension of this campaign is to also unite people across the county in a shared mission to keep where they live in Essex clean and connected.
Paul Beresford, CEO of Beresfords Group, said: “We’re proud to continue with our Communitea initiative across Essex, helping local people make their mark through simple efforts that collectively drive big change.
“Communitea isn’t just about picking up litter – it’s about showing pride in where we live and building stronger community connections.
“We’re extending a warm welcome to everyone in Maldon to join us, make a difference, and share a cuppa afterwards.”
