New charitable mark for Propertymark

At the recent NAEA Propertymark Conference, Propertymark members’ charity, Arbon Trust announced its new uniformed identity and strategic vision.

The charity, first registered in 2015, will now be known as The Propertymark Trust and will further enhance its reputation and mission to support those in need as well as other worthy charities through fund raising activity.

The Trust has recently provided more than 50 education grants and over £9,000 in funding to help launch Propertymark Qualifications’ apprenticeship scheme as well as help members from across the country struck with difficult times.

Previously, the Trust has provided financial support to make adaptations to the house of a Propertymark member whose accident left them in a wheelchair. Funding enabled them to have additional physiotherapy and resulted in them regaining movement in their legs and eventually getting back on their feet. Lauren Scott, Chair of The Propertymark Trust commented, “The recent announcement is an exciting one and we hope that the industry will follow and support us on our journey as we enhance our ongoing sponsorship and financial assistance to those in our industry that need it most.”

At the NAEA Propertymark Conference, the charity invited a selection of small and friendly dogs from The Cuddle Club so that attendees could have a cuddle and go away with a smile on their faces.
