Orchard Estates supports Macmillan Coffee Morning
This special day started with free bacon barms provided by St. Annes Bistro, followed by the judging of the “Cake Off.”
The Judges, including The Mayor of St. Annes, Cheryl Little, tasted each of the 16 cakes with marks out of 10 awarded by each judge.
Cake No: 2 was the winner, entered by Orchard Estates’ own Charlotte Currie, and “Charlie” was duly declared the winner.
Second place went to cake No: 15, entered by Lynn Davies.
Third place went to cake No: 4, baked by Noele Taylor. Hearty congratulations to all those who entered cakes, especially Ben, who tried very hard to convince everyone that he had baked the cake himself, but no-one believed him! The event raised £1500 for Macmillan.
