Sharman Quinney raises £1,100 for Sue Ryder
Sharman Quinney, which has 20 offices around Peterborough and Lincolnshire, has raised £1,100 for the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. The amount was raised through a raffle by Sharman Quinney employees at the company’s annual Top Achievers event on 23rd January, which celebrates talent within the company.
Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough provides incredible care to patients and their families both at the hospice and in the community. Sharman Quinney has a longstanding relationship with Sue Ryder having raised money and supported the charity for over 15 years.
Mike Sharman, Managing Director said, “Our Top Achievers event was a huge success and we are delighted to have yet again raised an incredible amount for our chosen charity. We are proud to continue to raise money for this important and worthwhile charity whose work is invaluable to those they support.”
Thorpe Hall’s corporate fundraiser Kate Bement said, “This contribution from Sharman Quinney could pay for a hospice nurse for 11 days – which really puts into perspective how important this kind of support is. We’re really grateful to the team for both this donation and their continuing support.”
