Winner of Village Life Photography Competition is crowned!
Bernard Noblett from Euxton has been crowned the winner of a photography competition thanks to a creative picture he took of a beauty spot in a village he loves.
Lancashire based estate and lettings agent Home Truths joined forces with village parish councils to appeal for locals to take part in its photography campaign ‘Village Life’ to celebrate the beauty of the local villages.
Bernard Noblett, from Euxton, was crowned the winner for his photograph titled ‘Croston, a place to sit and pause’.
Bernard said, “Croston really is lovely and I love to visit and walk round the village admiring the everything that this beautiful Lancashire village has to offer. I like to sit at this bench and watch the world go by.”
Home Truths Sales Manager, Catherine Byfield, said, “We are fortunate to be surrounded by many beautiful villages. We wanted to celebrate our villages by inviting people to take pictures of a village they love and to tell us why their picture, for them, captures Village Life.
“Bernard’s image is stunning, we love the vibrancy of the colours of the floral display. The simple caption ‘Croston, a place to sit and pause’ sums up the image and the feeling in just a few words. Bernard is indeed a worthy winner.”
