Businesses from Lancashire village, Eccleston, took part in Eccleston’s first Business Pub quiz, hosted by estate agent Home Truths; raising £555 for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

70 people from the village joined in and after a few close rounds Roots Tennis came out on top to be crowned Eccleston’s Brainiest Business 2018. Cathy Skidmore Corporate Fundraising Manager for Rosemere Cancer Foundation said: “Thanks to all at Home Truths for organising a very successful quiz and thank you to everyone who attended. Congratulations to Roots Tennis for winning the title of Eccleston’s Brainiest Business!

“The fantastic £555 will fund equipment, patient’s comforts, services and research which are outside of the scope of NHS funding, but which make a big difference to cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria.”
