Lettings platform Goodlord has landed a significant coup after signing up the Lomond estate agency group and its eight brands.

The agencies are Braemore, Stonehouse, Linley & Simpson, Dale Eddison, Thornley Groves, John Shepherd, Brand Vaughan and Michael Jones which will now use Goodlord for a variety of lettings tasks, which will now be standardised across the group including tenant referencing.

Landlords and tenants will also be offered a white-labelled version of the Goodlord app.

But Lomond Group was also attracted by the comprehensive cover offered by the platform’s Rent Protection & Legal Expenses Insurance, which both sides say was a key reason for Goodlord winning the business.

20,000 homes

The deal means the number of properties covered by Goodlord is significantly expanded as Lomond has some 22,000 homes under management in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Edinburgh, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, and York.
