Flurry of Northwood acquisitions take it to over 90 branches

Belvoir’s growing agency brand reveals significant drive to acquire rivals in multiple locations across the UK.

Belvoir’s Northwood agency brand is continuing to expand apace, with three franchisees buying out local rivals.

As a result of the acquisitions, Northwood now has more than 90 lettings and estate agents across the country.

Doncaster’s Helen Elworthy, who is celebrating 10 years with Northwood, has just completed on her fourth office after buying Goole-based Housesetc, which adds a lettings arm to her business.

Meanwhile Paul Ryder from Northwood Eastbourne has acquired the rental portfolio of K Lettings (trading as masonbryant), and Patience Simpson from Ashford has snapped up local rival Stevens & Co.

“Acquisitions remain a strong growth strategy for the Northwood franchisees, and we have several other acquisitions in the pipeline, which will be announced when they complete.

“It is always good to have such a positive start to the year, and I wish all of our franchisees every success for the future.”

Speaking of his latest acquisition, Paul Ryder (main pic) from Northwood Eastbourne said: “This has added a significant number of properties to our portfolio, and we are very happy that Kay Smith, who was a founding member of masonbryant and a director of K Lettings, has agreed to come and work for us at Northwood.”
