Former TV presenter and Purplebricks LPE joins growing agency
Fiona Pagett only joined the property industry in 2019 after a career in TV, PR and sport - but is now partner at Paton & Co.
A TV presenter who switched careers to become a Purplebricks LPE has now joined a prestigious high street agency in Scotland.
Fiona Pagett (main pic) worked at Grampian TV as a broadcast journalist and presenter during the 1990s before jumping ship to the PR and later sports industries, subsequently joining Purplebricks as an LPE in 2019 but then joining Rettie & Co in August 2021 as a senior sales neg.
The 53-year-old has now joined rival firm Paton & Co as a partner based in the Borders village of Broughton covering the Peebleshire area.
“I’ve lived in Broughton for 22 years; it’s where I’ve brought up my children and I’ve been involved in lots of community organisations and initiatives over the years,” she says.
“I enjoy the benefits of living in a close rural community and am a huge advocate of country life.”

His company is a relative newcomer to the market. It was established in early 2021 by husband-and-wife team Patrick and Celia Paton, a property marketing specialist.
In September 2021, the estate agency expanded its Scotland-wide business into Berwickshire and Northumberland.
The business added to the team with the appointment of Operations Manager Tamara Inness in August 2022.
