Iamsold auction platform parent company Iamproperty is to enter the compliance and conveyancing tech race with a new service for private treaty sales called Movebutler.

Due to launch for existing customers in January, it is due to go live for the wider industry in the Spring.

Iamproperty says demand from its agent customers for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, identity checks and more joined-up conveyancing have persuaded it develop Movebutler.

The company claims it will be a pioneering online platform designed around the common challenges estate agents face; find solutions for the current sticking points in the buying and selling process; and improve the experience for all the parties involved.

It has already completed 50,000 compliance risk assessment for estate agency clients ahead of the tech platform’s launch.

“We’ve built our business around empowering estate agents to succeed, by being an extension of their team and enabling them to expand their services without having to expand their infrastructure,” says Ben Ridgway, Group Managing Director at Iamproperty (pictured, above).

“2020 has been our fastest period of growth and it’s great to see our agent network embracing modern methods.

“Our auction arm Iamsold has had record-breaking sales, supporting agents responding to the demand from vendors for quick and secure transactions, and more agents are turning to our much simpler compliance process opening up more of their time to spend elsewhere in the business.”
