A Birmingham estate agency is about to celebrate the 10th anniversary of an associate director whose local knowledge helped establish and build the business over the last decade.

Melissa Petros joined Davidson Estates in Edgbastonas a lettings negotiator and viewer working just two days a week back in June 2012.

Her local knowledge of properties around the area soon proved its value, earning her the role as associate director at the firm.

Ben Davidson, the founder and managing director of Davidson Estates, interviewed Ms Petros back in 2012 and offered her the job the very next day.

He said: “Melissa was a great find and is responsible for a major part of Davidson Estate’s expansion, reputation and quality.

“She just knows the Edgbaston market so well and, since this prime suburb is such a vital part of the company, her knowledge has been crucial for our growth.

“It really doesn’t feel like 10 years as time always flies when you’re enjoying yourself,” said Melissa.

She added: “I’m proud of how my local knowledge helped the business and together we’ve built an established company. that has such a good reputation across Edgbaston and the wider city.”
