SDL Auctions has appointed a new national sales manager, Jason Lee, to expand its Auction Partners network, which launched in 2016.

SDL Auction Partners allows firms to sell properties in SDL Auctions’ live and online auctions free of charge, without the need to invest in their own systems.

Jason said, “Estate agents now see auctions as an extremely valuable revenue stream, and there is a real appetite for our SDL Auctions Partners service. In a challenging market, it can give a business a competitive edge.

“We’ve now moved away from the idea that the only homes listed at auction are where the vendor is desperate to sell.

“Sites like eBay and eBid have been key to bringing auctions to the masses – and people can now browse properties at online auction sites without having to go to the live sale. Both buyers and sellers benefit from a fast transaction, while agents can expect payment within a week.”
