National launch for mio – speeding up the chain

Link to mio newsA smart new combined sales progression and communication tool, mio, is now available to estate agency branches across England and Wales – with a 6 months free introductory offer.

The national launch followed mio’s successful debut in Cardiff, part of an 18-month programme, in which the innovative, time-saving tool was used by agents accounting for over half of all properties sold.

With a shared view of the chain, milestone updates and more, mio helps estate agents speed up transactions and reduce their fall-through rates.

As the mio community expands, agents benefit from greater collaboration, more information pre-populated by other agents and homemovers as the chain progresses– as Perry Power, Managing Director of Power Bespoke says, mio is hugely valuable. The more you use it, the better it gets..”

mio also has a consumer app. Homemovers can see the progress of their sale and the status of the chain, as well as communicate directly with their estate agent.

Rachel Jones, Senior Sales Manager at Peter Alan said,“Overall, mio has helped to tighten our business processes and reduce the time it takes for a sale to go through. It makes sales progression a lot easier for us.”

Beyond being positively received, mio helped to reduce average fall-through rates to 21% compared to the UK average of 33%, whilst speeding up transactions to exchange from 126 days down to 85 days (as measured from September 2017 to April 2019 across the Cardiff mio community of agents).

Jon Horton, Product Director for mio said, “To date, mio is being used by over 400 agency branches and this is growing by the week. It is a hugely exciting time for the residential property sector and for estate agents. For too long now, the home moving process has suffered from huge inefficiencies. Every so often, an opportunity presents itself that has the ability to transform things for the benefit of everyone; mio is that opportunity.”
