£10 million commission milestone celebrated by estate agency
Avocado Property Agents has celebrated its fifth anniversary with a landmark achievement, providing 'validation' of approach, says Co-Founder.

Self-employed estate agency brokerage Avocado Property Agents has celebrated its fifth year in business by banking £10 million in commission and more than £800 million in property sales since launch.
Co-founder, Mike Robson (main image), said the milestone reflects the success of the brand’s values-led model: “This isn’t just a financial figure – it’s a validation of the approach we’ve taken. We’ve built something that empowers agents to thrive on their own terms, while delivering real results for clients.”
“At the heart of Avocado’s model is a simple belief: when you invest in great people, great results follow. Rather than focusing on volume-based KPIs and rigid corporate structures, Avocado supports its self-employed agents to run their own businesses with full marketing and operational support.”
Looking to expand
The agency has an in-house team handling campaign strategy, design and execution while agents focus on service, sales and relationships.
According to the team, this approach has not only accelerated sales but also improved the client journey and helped agents build stronger personal brands.
The plan now is to bring in more experienced, motivated agents who want more autonomy, better earnings, and a values-led brand that supports their individuality.
“We’re not aiming to be the biggest agency in the UK, but we do want to create the best place to be an estate agent – one where hard work is rewarded, creativity is encouraged, and agents are in control of their own direction,” adds Robson.
