Director of big agency and charity fundraiser dies after long illness
Ian Maclean, who had been Franchise Director at Belvoir Group since 2016, has passed away, the company has announced.
Belvoir Group has announced the death of Franchise Director Ian Maclean after a long illness.
Ian (main image, left), who was 62, had been a director with Belvoir since 2016 after being promoted from a Business Mentor.
He joined the company in 2007, and stayed on when it was bought by The Property Franchise Group last year.
Keen motorcyclist
He was a keen motorcyclist and in 2022 to celebrate his 60th birthday he planned to team up with Andy Soloman, ex-CEO of Yomdel, to take on a month-long motorbike journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise cash for charity (see main picture).
Unfortunately the trip had to be cancelled because Ian received the initial diagnosis of his illness.
Highly valued and respected

Gareth Samples, CEO at TPFG, says: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ian Maclean, Franchise Director, following a long-term illness.
