A single-branch estate agency in Manchester has merged with regional five-branch firm Miller Metcalfe.

Higham Estate Agents has joined the larger firm’s existing network of branches situated to the north and north-west of Manchester including in Bury, Bolton, (pictured below), Culcheth, Worsley and Harwood and now, with the addition of Higham, in Tydesley. The Highams branch and business is to rebrand.

Miller Metcalfe’s branches cover, as well as their nearby areas, 20 other central, suburban and rural areas in and around Manchester. The company has twice been shortlisted at The Negotiator Awards including most recently in 2022.

The Higham Estate Agents branch will continue as normal other than rebranding and will continue to be run by the firm’s co-founder, Dean Higham (main image, right), along with the other three team members in the branch as well as its two office dogs.

New chapter

“This is an exciting new chapter for us,” says Higham.

“Our clients will continue to receive the same dedicated service they’ve come to expect, now with the added advantage of a wider reach and more comprehensive support.

“We’re thrilled to be part of a network that shares our values and vision for the future of estate agency.”

Stuart Matthews, Manging Director at Miller Metcalfe.

Stuart Matthews, Manging Director at Miller Metcalfe adds: “It’s great to have Dean, Chelsea, Amanda & Ellise joining us and we’re really looking forward to helping even more customers move onto the next chapter in their lives.”

Higham Estate Agent was established by Dean and Chelsea Higham (main image, left) in 2020 after, in his case, working initially in the mortgage sector and later estate agency, while she had worked in estate agency since 2013.
