An independent estate agency in East Anglia has taken a novel approach to opening its latest branch in the region.

Minors & Brady, which has just opened its eighth office in Diss, has promised to donate 10% of its first-year’s profits to local charities East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and the PACT animal sanctuary with a guaranteed minimum of £3,000.

The agency was founded back in 2014 by locals Jamie Minors and Alex Brady and now has 90 agents working across both Norfolk and Suffolk, selling more than 2,000 homes a year.

Charitable heart

The offer to donate part of its profits is very much in line with its company ethos – the agency prides itself on being at the heart of the communities where it operates and already regularly donates to St. Johns School Charity in Hoveton as well as sponsoring various sports teams and events.

There was a great appetite in the town for a new agency.”

Speaking exclusively to The Neg, Minors and Brady said: “We chose Diss because it’s densely populated and is the gateway to Suffolk.”

They add: “There was a great appetite in the town for a new agency and so it is being well received and has already got quite a few listings.”

The new branch is headed up by Nicola Hembling (main picture), who grew up in Diss and worked at a corporate estate agency – William H Brown – for over 10 years.

She says: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining the Minors & Brady brand, which will give me better marketing tools and support to help customers sell for the best price.”

“Having lived in the area for nearly 40 years, I’m committed to helping our locals move, and welcoming new buyers into the region.”

“We’re thrilled to bring our estate agency services to the heart of Diss, helping buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants with expert advice and a personal touch.”
