Going for a song! High-profile industry senior launches solo album
Michael Day, who is MD of Integra Property Services, has written and performed his own newly-released track, which is the first from his new album.

Multi-talented property industry senior Michael Day (main image) has released the first single from his first album.
Well-known in the sector as a speaker at seminars, webinars, podcasts and conferences, he also runs his own consultancy, Integra Property Services. Prior to that he had a distinguished career at Connells.
As MD of Integra, he has been providing business mentoring, project management, sales, management and compliance training to the property industry since 2003.
Outstanding contribution
His outstanding contribution to the industry was recognised with the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Negotiator Awards 2023.
And he isn’t new to the music scene either, being a guitarist and songwriter for around 50 years. He used to play the pub and club circuit before business and family commitments took over.
But for the last 15 years, he has appeared at the annual Wishbone Ash convention. And since a triple heart bypass in 2021 he has returned to the ‘Open Mic’ circuit, and plays around 40 gigs a year.
New single
Now, he has released a new single called ‘Please Don’t Go’, a song about having lost love and hoping to find a way to recover the relationship again.
It has gone live on all the streaming platforms, including Spotify, Amazon, Apple and Deezer.
The next track to be released on 15th September is called Prodigal Son – the title track of the planned album.
And in October he will be releasing ‘Blood Red Sky’, a song written having visited the war graves cemetery at Ypres in Belgium, and inspired by the rows of white headstones with the words “Known unto God” on them. The song will be released in the run up to Remembrance Day.
He has also written and recorded a Christmas song, with all monies raised going to two charities – Diabetes UK and The Propertymark Trust.
You can listen to ‘Please Don’t Go’ here on Spotify or or on Amazon.
