Martin & Co Huddersfield franchise owner completes fourth acquisition

Franchise owner of Martin & Co Huddersfield, Will Taylor, (pictured) has completed his fourth acquisition with the purchase of independent estate and lettings agency ADM Residential.

The acquisition brings ADM Residential’s portfolio into the established Huddersfield operation, creating opportunities to combine the businesses’ existing stock, expertise and local connections.

The latest deal marks another milestone for Taylor, who has operated Martin & Co Huddersfield since 2009. Having originally built the business from scratch with just one other member of staff, he has grown the operation into a team of 12 managing a busy residential sales and lettings business.

Continuity is key

Lisa Hollings, Operations Manager at Martin & Co Huddersfield, who plays a major role in the successful integration of acquired businesses, said: “Every acquisition brings its own challenges, but having a clear plan and making sure the team is aligned from the outset makes a huge difference.

A key priority following the acquisition will be maintaining continuity for ADM Residential’s landlords, vendors, tenants and customers, while introducing the additional resources and proactive approach offered by the larger Martin & Co Huddersfield team.

Taylor notes that the enlarged team of 12 will provide customers with greater access to support, while the combined portfolio will create more connections to help deliver a faster service.
