A six-year-old estate agency that has been operated solely off the high street has now rebranded, adopted a self-employed model and revealed a cheeky new name.

Gyles & Rose, which was incorporated in 2020 by Rose Bell and Gyles Harvey, has traded until now as Gyles and Rose from a business park in Colchester, Essex, and while this operational arrangement will continue, the company has changed name to the Naked Collective, trading as NAKED agents.

The business is led and now owned by Charlie Morgan (main image), who joined as a director and shareholder earlier this year. Naked is operating through the eXp platform via its Team model.

Morgan started his estate agency career at Haart as a sales negotiator later moving to Harris & Wood and then co-founding his own estate agency in 2020 during the Covid pandemic, called Oakheart.

Team effort

The eXp Teams model is designed to help estate agencies expand their business by enabling them to create their own brand and team of self-employed agents working within that brand, still ‘powered by eXp’.

Morgan says: “I’ve spent the past 12 years working across the property industry and during that time I’ve learned just as much about what doesn’t work as what does.

I’ve learned just as much about what doesn’t work as what does.”

“Too much of traditional estate agency is built around outdated systems, unnecessary hierarchy and processes that make life harder for both agents and clients. We wanted to build something different.

NAKED is about complete transparency, exceptional marketing and giving people a better experience from start to finish. Joining eXp UK allows us to do exactly that. We have the freedom to build the business around our customers rather than around a high street office, whilst giving our agents the tools and autonomy to do the best work of their careers.

“For us, this isn’t simply a rebrand. It’s the start of building the estate agency business we believe the modern market deserves.”
