Agent left asking ‘why’ after graffiti spray attack on branch
Tim Peers says he can't understand the motivation of vandals who painted tags outside his office.

Vandals have attacked an estate agency in Oxfordshire spraying walls outside the office with graffiti.
Director Tim Peers (main picture) was left asking ‘why?’ after the front of his premises and two other shops in Henley-on-Thames were hit in what seems to be a random attack.
“It is odd and unnecessary, and I don’t understand it,” he tells The Neg.
Peers said he had hoped there was CCTV in operation in Duke Street where the Tim Peers Estate Agents office is located, but this wasn’t the case.
The graffiti tags spell out ‘2secs’, which in slang can mean that’s how long it takes to do something stupid or unnecessary.
Split second
Henley Mayor Michelle Thomas said: “We’re going to have to put it on the council agenda, and have a really good talk about this.
“Without a police presence, things can happen in a split second. We have no CCTV there either, but even if we did I’m not sure we’d be able to identify the culprit.
“We can only appeal to them by saying that this is costing us so much every time you do this.”
Peers, who has taken the attack in good humour, hasn’t cleaned the graffiti off immediately because he fears it may encourage the culprits to strike again immediately.
Tim Peers Estate Agents was rebranded two years ago after being known as ‘Peers and Hilton’, which had been the name for 25 years.
