One of the UK’s largest independent estate agency sales referral networks has named its latest new members as the revived organisation reports a ‘surge’ in activity.

The 600+ agency strong Relocation Agent Network, which was acquired by Simon Whale and Kevin Ellis in January 2023 from Dwellworks, has named eight of its latest firms to join.

These are Bond Residential, Maddisons, Lang Llewellyn & Co, DB Roberts, Exact Homes, David Evans, Simpson & Marwick, and Payton Jewell Caines which have all been awarded exclusive licenses for their respective regions within England, Wales, and Scotland.

Catherine Caines (main image), the MD of Welsh agency Payton Jewell Caines, says: “The UK property market used to be a very insular one with most people moving within a five mile radius, but Covid and other factors have changed all that”.

RAN’s MD Richard Durrant says his aim this year is to consolidate full membership across every available territory.

“Full estate agency members uniquely benefit from the ability to generate referral income by assisting buyers with properties to sell beyond their immediate catchment area,” he says.

“With approximately 50% of enquires coming from outside of an agents catchment area.

“This revenue stream is invaluable, especially in today’s market and it’s great to see it being recognised as such with 39 offices having signed up in just the last few months.”

RAN has also now revealed that it has signed up six new suppliers and services which now offer exclusive deals to members including GoTo, Goodlord and Smart Compliance.
