New ARLA President promises to build public trust in letting agents

Angharad Trueman (main picture), Andrews Group Lettings Director, has been appointed President of ARLA Propertymark – a post that will see her be an ambassador for the organisation.

In her new role Angharad (known as Harry) will be meeting with members and other key stakeholders to talk about the benefits of being an ARLA Propertymark member as well as raising standards in the lettings industry.

INDUSTRY ACHIEVER

A renowned property industry achiever, Harry joined Andrews as Group Lettings Director in May last year and has been in the property industry for 14 years, working for both independent and corporate agents in a variety of locations.

She has been a winner at The Negotiator Awards scooping the Rising Star of The Year accolade in 2018 and most recently Trueman was Managing Director of CGT Lettings in Gloucestershire.

Trueman says: “It’s an exciting opportunity to influence and drive positive change, advocating for high standards and ethical practices within the lettings industry.

And she says: “One of the aspects I most look forward to in my presidency is the opportunity to engage with this community on a deeper level and spend a great deal of time listening to the feedback and concerns of letting agent members across the country.”
