Belvoir crowns Swansea office as Franchise of the Year

Husband and wife team, Ben and Daisy Davies from Belvoir Swansea, scoop the coveted Gold Award for Franchise of the Year 2022 at the franchisor's annual conference.

It was Swansea which took the top spot at this year’s Belvoir Annual Conference and Awards, with the 12-year-old branch named Franchise of the Year.

Owners, Ben and Daisy Davies, were met with a standing ovation from the guests, which included fellow franchisees, suppliers and sponsors, SDL Property Auctions and Let Alliance. It was also the first ‘live’ event in two years.

The pair took on the Belvoir Swansea office as a cold start business over a decade ago and have since built the business up, adding two more Belvoir offices in Mumbles and Sketty.

Belvoir CEO, Dorian Gonsalves (pictured), commented. “[Ben and Daisy] are highly deserving of the title Belvoir Franchise of the Year and are also on target to achieve a million pounds worth of turnover this year. I would like to wish Ben, Daisy and the teams at Belvoir Swansea, Mumbles and Sketty many, many congratulations and every success for the future.”

Speaking of their win, Ben Davies said: “Daisy and I are so happy and pleased! We won the Silver Award in 2020 and 2021, so to win Gold this year is just brilliant. We’ve always strived to win Gold and will definitely be aiming to win it again next year. Daisy and I would like to thank our amazing team, who do so much every day to help us achieve success. They are as thrilled as we are to win this title, and we are really looking forward to celebrating with them.”

A total of 31 awards were presented on the night, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, which went to Mick and Linda Green from Belvoir Burnley, and Rising Star Award for Skylar Atkinson of Belvoir Aberdeen in recognition of her ambitious plans and business growth.

“There were many other wonderful results on the night, with all aspects of the Belvoir business model recognised, from financial services to sales and lettings, as well as offices who have organised great charity events and provided outstanding customer service,” added Dorian. “The judges had a very tough time in choosing the winners! I congratulate everyone in the Central Office team for organising such a brilliant event, and of course all of our sponsors and suppliers for helping to make the Conference and Awards the huge success that it was.”
