Meet the social Swede helping agents find locked-down buyers and sellers

Co-founder of Brightbee says his platform enables estate agents to target specific audiences and areas on Instagram, Facebook and Google.

Estate agents hoping to market their businesses via Instagram and Facebook, as the nation hunkers down at home, are being offered a new system that’s already a hit within the Swedish property industry.

Called Brightbee, its co-founder Nick Börjlind claims his platform is the future of online property marketing, and it could one day be a rival to the big UK portals.

Börjlind says that property searches using Facebook and Instagram have been increasing significantly recently as house hunters look to social media as well as the portals for homes, particularly during the pandemic.

He says that his platform, which also enables agents to manage their Google advertising, is a valuable tool during the lockdown because it automates much of the donkey work associated with posting ads on social media.

Agents can publish their listings content through either their existing CRM and property software suites, or though Brightbee’s dedicated white-label platform.

It uses a targeted funnel system to put property listings in front of the most relevant people and on the most appropriate advertising platform be it Google, Instagram or Facebook.

“Agents can also use us to promote their branch, staff or company as well as their listings,” says Börjlind.

“And instead of leaflet drops, agents can also target specific postcodes as well as wider regions – but our system does all the hard work in the background to target the right age, interests and even which portal they use, as well as the area they live in.”

Brightbee is free to sign up to and then charges on a per-advert basis or, for larger agencies, on a fixed-fee per office system.
