Former eBay boss joins Iamproperty as Group Chairman
Mark Lewis was previously Chief Executive of Moneysupermarket Group, Managing Director of eBay UK and on the board of John Lewis.
City heavy hitter Mark Lewis has joined Iamproperty as Group Chairman as part of a major restructure following the proptech group’s nine-figure deal with private equity investment house Perwyn last month.
Lewis has a successful track record of leading and scaling tech businesses and his appointment will be widely welcomed.
MAJOR FORCE
He was Country Manager and Managing Director of eBay UK until 2010, scaling the online auction business to become a major force in UK retail.
Lewis also spent nearly four years as Retail Director and on the board of John Lewis up until 2017 where he helped grow the business to become the market-leading multi-channel retailer in the UK.
From there he went on to become Chief Executive of MoneySupermarket Group, scaling the price comparison business and helping households save over £2bn from their bills each year. He is currently a Non-Executive Director for both Santander UK and Direct Line Group and a Trustee of The Photographers’ Gallery.
