Clive Beattie to join Nurtur Group as Chief Financial Officer

The move strengthens the burgeoning tech group's leadership team and comes after his decision to leave OnTheMarket where Beattie was also CFO.

Clive Beattie is joining Nurtur Group as its Chief Financial Officer after he decided to leave the same role at OnTheMarket (OTM).

Beattie, who qualified as a chartered accountant with PWC, joined OTM in March 2017 and served as interim chief executive for nine months before the appointment of Jason Tebb and has held previous C-suite executive positions at ThruVision and Croft Associates.

Beattie says: “It is a great pleasure to be joining Jon and his team at Nurtur.group.

I have watched and admired the growth in the business to date and am excited to join and be part of the team.”

OPPORTUNITIES

Jon Cooke, CEO of Nurtur.group, says, “We welcome Clive to Nurtur.group to strengthen our senior team as we continue to explore further opportunities that allow us to serve our customers better. His wealth of knowledge and financial expertise will be an asset as we navigate the next steps in the company’s journey.”

Matthew Siebert, partner at Toscafund and Nurtur.group, adds: “We are delighted that Clive has agreed to join Nurtur. As we continue to scale, having someone of Clive’s experience and talent on board means we will be well positioned for our next phase of growth.”

Industry figure Robert May says, “This is a good move for Clive. He’s done a good job at OnTheMarket. Anything with the likes of Jon Cooke, Iain McKenzie and Damon Bullimore involved says it all really. It’s a formidable tech group they are putting together and they never fail to impress.”

Beattie, who joins Nutur in January next year, posted the news on LinkedIn and received dozens of congratulatory comments from former and future colleagues.

He replied, “Thank you all, it is fantastic to be joining and the future looks very exciting for Nurtur!”
