Is John D Wood the UK’s most festive estate agency this year?
Firm reveals it has backed four different Christmas events across the nation this year including the infamous 'Santa Dash' in Lymington.
Bosses at Countrywide brand John D Wood say the firm has been busy backing a full-on Christmas for staff with four different big festive events across the UK.
This has included several long-standing commitments including supporting the annual ‘Carols in the Square’ in Battersea, London; the famous ‘Santa Dash’ in Lymington, Hampshire; the Chelsea Green Carol Service and staff participating in the national ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ earlier this month.
Commenting on the Battersea event, Alex Oppenheim (pictured), Director at John D Wood & Co.’s Battersea office says: “It was an absolute joy to see Battersea Square full of local families and friends singing their hearts out around the Christmas tree!
“My huge thanks to St Mary’s Church who worked incredibly hard to ensure a great time was had by everyone.”
On a slightly sillier note, albeit in support of a hospitce, staff at its Lymington branch (main picture) dressed up as Santas for the town’s annual Xmas binge.
Getting involved
Kat Mitchell, Senior Lettings Manager in Lymington says: “This is a wonderful event which brings the community together. Knowing our sponsorship goes to a great cause is brilliant, but the best part is dressing up and getting involved.”
Staff across the Connells Group, which bought Countrywide and therefore John D Wood last year, also dressed in their finest festive outfits on the national Christmas Jumper Day on 8th December, not only to get into the Christmas spirit but to raise awareness and funds for food bank operator the Trussell Trust.
