Estate agency launches branch with unusual ‘dual branding’
Both John D Wood & Co and its separate lettings business CHK Mountford share billing on the outside of the new branch in Surbiton.
Estate agency John D Wood & Co has revealed a new branch launched via an unusual ‘dual branding’ arrangement.
The company’s new office on Victoria Road (main image) in the London suburb of Surbiton and sports both the John D Wood & Co brand but also CHK Mountford, the firm’s lettings brand which also has an office in Esher.
CHK Mountford ppreviously had its own offices elsewhere in the town but is now sharing with its sister brand, which it has been a part of since 2016 and before that in Esher for over 30 years.
The move to this new office, coupled with the launch of a new dedicated sales department, marks a “significant milestone in the business’ growth”, says John D Wood & Co, but also expanding its London and Southeast network to 34 branches.
Jointly branded
The new jointly-branded office is within the former Barclays Bank and its team includes Ryan Letch as Head of Lettings at CHK Mountford who is joined by Luke Dwyer, Head of Sales at John D Wood & Co, who between them have some 23 years working within estate agency.
The branch team also has Tracey Powell, Client Accounting Manager who holds a seven-year tenure with the business, (and a 30-year strong career), and Karen Hale, Head of Property Management, who has worked with CHK Mountford for 25 years, who together will be able to offer clients an exceptional end-to-end service.
Polly Ogden Duffy, Managing Director at John D Wood & Co. says: “We are delighted to share the news that our CHK Mountford office in Surbiton has relocated to a new prime position on Victoria Road, and will open in partnership with its sister brand John D Wood & Co. providing a comprehensive residential sales service.
“Surbiton perfectly complements our existing network of sales offices, sitting in a highly desirable London suburb on the leafy Surrey border, while still giving our clients quick links into the city.”
