Is Propertymark about to become a gold-on-black squiggle?
Trade body is tight lipped about new posh logo, which is rumoured to be part of a push to 'raise the game' of the industry.

Propertymark has launched a teaser campaign for a new logo to be used by the organisation, the purpose of which will be revealed later this week.

CEO Nathan Emerson (pictured) as well as dozens of his head office team and regional agent representatives have changed their LinkedIn profile pictures to include the gold-on-black logo, which is due to debut at a public event for the first time at its national gathering in London in the summer.
Speculation on social media by agents suggests it is a new ‘excellence’ logo for agents who attain pre-agreed levels of training, compliance and service quality.
This view is backed up by several references to the teaser campaign on new marketing materials issued yesterday by Propertymark referring to a ‘raise your game’ initiative.
The trade grouping has also begun referring to its national conference in London as Propertymark One to differentiate the show from its free regional mini-conferences and exhibitions.
It is now five years since The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) as well as the ICBA and APIP jointly relaunched themselves under the Propertymark umbrella.
The new logo teased by Propertymark, it should be pointed out, has five ‘houses’ pointing towards its centre.
Since then references to these once separate organisations, which still exist as social media accounts and elsewhere online, have been becoming fewer and fewer as the Propertymark has become the routine name used, a move confirmed in February 2021 by Propertymark’s short-lived CEO Tim Balcon.
