‘Gamechanger’ smart For Sale and To Let signboards launched by Kremer
Firm says the advanced QR technology embedded with the boards can generate leads for sales and letting agencies.
Leading signboards supplier Kremer has launched a ‘smartboard’ which it says will be a game changer for the estate agency industry.
Company spokesperson Gary Gosney says the boards take For Sale and To Let sign to a new level because they use QR code technology to generate leads for estate agencies.
“This is the first time the traditional and digital marketing worlds for estate agents have met,” he says.
Prospective buyers who walk or drive past a property can scan the QR on the signboard which can either take them through the property’s listing or to a virtual tour.
QR codes were going out of fashion until the pandemic, but the requirement of track and trace mean millions of people have been using QR codes on a daily basis recently as hospitality venues and shops have re-opened.
“Rather than a standard QR Code that is used just once to direct you to a fixed URL, you can actually manage your Smartboards QR Codes to direct traffic through to the exact property details or virtual viewing link,” says Gosney (pictured)
“Not only does this make the Smartboard incredibly user friendly, but you are also prompted to input your contact details if you are interested to receive further information or to arranging a viewing, which makes them lead generating as well.”
When a prospective buyer uses the system the agent receives an email in the same way portals do, and the Kremer system also enables agents to monitor the performance of their boards, their location and the ability reassign the QR Code to a different property after its sold or let.
