Major property auction firm launches in Northern Ireland
Oliver Prior, National Commercial Director for Auction House, says the firm can now offer complete UK coverage backed with local knowledge.
After a year of record-breaking results, Auction House is closing 2025 with another significant development.
At the start of October, the auctioneer officially established itself in Northern Ireland, and is now able to support buyers and sellers across the full extent of the United Kingdom.
Northern Ireland is enjoying a buoyant property market, with house prices increasing over the last year, despite a difficult economic climate.
According to the Essential Information Group (EIG), £10.8 million of property has been sold by auction across Northern Ireland since the start of the year, with over 305 lots being offered.
This highlights the growing popularity of faster, more straightforward sales and the size of the opportunity for new operators.
Local knowledge, national reach
Working in partnership with the estate agent Reeds Rains Northern Ireland, the Auction House Northern Ireland team will be well placed to support new and existing clients with single asset and portfolio appraisals.
With 50 national online auctions running each year, both buyers and sellers across Northern Ireland will be able to enjoy the advantages of accessible, transparent and regular auction events. Sellers will also benefit from a national auction platform and Auction House’s engagement with a wide spectrum of buyers across the UK and abroad.
Oliver Prior, National Commercial Director for Auction House, said: “This expansion builds on the continued growth of the business as a national auctioneer with local knowledge.
“By leveraging our regional presence, we will harness our deep-rooted local knowledge to provide best advice, and capitalise on our established local and national buyer networks to deliver highly competitive bidding environments and the best results for our clients.”
