BestAgent launches new membership club for hardworking agents
The exclusive club will recognises decent service standards, plus estate agents can earn a stake in BestAgent.

Housing market commentator Charlie Lamdin’s (pictured) BestAgent is launching a new membership club.
Launching in November, BestAgent Club will bring together estate agents committed to putting movers first, improving transaction success rates and challenging outdated industry practices.
It will reward estate agents who cut deal times and fall throughs, reward better performance and help more people successfully move home.
Membership cannot simply be bought, with applicants assessed on their working practices, service standards and commitment to better outcomes for movers. Membership can be withdrawn if standards are not maintained.
We’re looking for agents who care about doing right by their customers, want to keep getting better and are willing to challenge the old habits holding the industry back.”
Only 99 Founder Memberships will be available, with total membership initially capped at 1,000 agents.
The club will champion agents based on successful home moves rather than instructions won.
Founder Members will work alongside Lamdin, the BestAgent team and its advisory board to develop new performance benchmarks focused on transaction completion rates and moving times. Members will also be able to display a BestAgent badge demonstrating their commitment to the Club’s standards and that they have met the benchmarks.
Individual Membership costs £100 a month, with Business Membership from £250 a month. Benefits include coaching, events and training to help agents achieve completion rates of 90% or more and support fees of 2%, alongside market intelligence and discounted leads for Business Members. The 99 Founder Members will also receive 80% off purchased leads in their first year, priority training and an opportunity to shape the Club’s development.
Initial interest has already been strong following early direct outreach, says Lamdin.
Silent success
He adds: “Some of the best agents aren’t necessarily the loudest or the best at promoting themselves.
“They’re the ones quietly getting on with the job, genuinely caring about their customers and always looking for ways to improve. Those are the agents we want to recognise and reward.
“This isn’t a club that agents can simply pay to join. We’re looking for agents who care about doing right by their customers, want to keep getting better and are willing to challenge the old habits holding the industry back. With the right support, those agents can achieve faster transactions, fewer fall-throughs, stronger local reputations and earn fees of 2% or more for the service they deliver.”

As part of its commitment to incentivising best practice, qualifying Business Members will have the opportunity to earn investment chips in BestAgent by being among the first to achieve its performance benchmarks. Each chip will entitle its holder to 0.01% of BestAgent’s revenues across 10 years, with an estimated value of up to £100,000, although revenues are not guaranteed.
Advisory board member and marketing veteran Rory Sutherland says: “One of the strangest things about the property market is that we reward people for starting transactions, rather than successfully finishing them. It’s a classic case of incentives driving the wrong behaviour.
“BestAgent is doing something rather clever: changing what success looks like. By rewarding agents who get people moved, rather than simply getting properties listed, it has the potential to change the behaviour of an entire industry, which excites me hugely.”
