Zoopla to sponsor England cricket team as it faces Australia
The portal is to become the England team's 'official property partner' as it prepares to face the old enemy from Down Under this week.
Zoopla is to become one of the sponsors of the England cricket team on the eve of a series against the old enemy Australia.
The portal has signed a deal to be the team’s ‘official property partner’ at an exciting time with much attention centred around the team’s so-called ‘Bazball’ attacking tactics.
And the upcoming men’s series against Australia, will include T20 games in Southampton, Cardiff and Manchester, and one-day internationals in Nottingham, Leeds, Durham and London.
Showcase
Zoopla says the partnership will showcase it to new consumer audiences across England and Wales.
And it will have a presence at key cricket grounds across the country through advertising and broadcast TV.
It will also be working with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to sponsor grassroots initiatives, and contribute to the development of the cricket community across the country.
Strong fit
There is also a strong audience fit with over half of the cricket team’s fan base between 35 to 64, aligning with homeowner and mover audiences, Zoopla says.
Charlie Bryant, CEO of Zoopla and Houseful, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with England Cricket as its official property partner.
“Like Zoopla, which is known by over 90% of UK adults, cricket is part of our national fabric and we are excited to be supporting it at the national through to grassroots level.”
Tony Singh, CCO at the ECB, says: “Working with such a well-known brand will help to take cricket into the heart of even more communities.
“As well as seeing Zoopla at our venues, we’re also excited to work with them on grassroots initiatives, supporting our ambition to become the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales.”
