My Property Box boosts North East portfolio with acquisition
Estate agency group, My Property Box, has strengthened its position in the North East lettings market with the purchase of Clarke Holland.
Ashington-based Clarke Holland has been acquired by My Property Box, transferring its portfolio of rental properties to the firm’s office in Jesmond, Newcastle.
The deal represents the group’s 16th acquisition in seven years, following recent purchases including Ready to Rent in County Durham and Seaham-based Newton Assets.
This latest expansion is supported by a multi-million-pound investment from BGF, which is accelerating the company’s buy-and-build strategy as it continues to expand across the North East and North Yorkshire.
Clarke Holland owner Paul Baldry made the decision to sell the business for an undisclosed sum in order to focus on his own property portfolio and pursue other interests.
Expansion ambitions

My Property Box has also expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of Will Maddock as Chief Finance Officer (main image, right). The newly created role brings the financial function in-house for the first time, enhancing governance and providing increased strategic oversight.
Will joins from Manchester-headquartered Operam Education Group, where he sat on the board for more than seven years and played a key role in scaling the platform through the acquisition and integration of nine educational recruitment brands.
