New CEO for Dexters ASH KASHYAP

London-based independent chartered surveyor and estate agent, Dexters, has promoted Ash Kashyap to the position of CEO.

Having been instrumental in propelling the business forwards to record turnover and consistent profits as Chief Financial Officer – a position he held for over a decade – Ash succeeds former CEO Andy Shepherd, who retires in March 2026.

Founded in 1993, the Dexters group operates several estate agency brands with over 180 offices across the capital and a team of over 2,300 people.

In 2023, Ash led the largest acquisition in the firm’s history, acquiring Marsh & Parsons, followed by acquisition of LiFE Residential. This has contributed to the group’s recently reported 23% rise in revenue to £222 million, with underlying operating profit up 17% to almost £50 million (£47.2 million).

Andy Shepherd FRICS commented: “Ash Kashyap is an exceptional leader and I am absolutely delighted that he will be taking the role of CEO, driving the business to new heights and continuing the incredible journey that Dexters started on over 30 years ago.

“Back in 1993 we set out to be different and provide an exceptional level of service to our clients where nothing is too much trouble, and the strength and depth of our management team coupled with this culture is what continues to set us apart.”

Ash added: “It has been a great pleasure to work with Andy Shepherd over the years and I am excited to succeed him as Chief Executive Officer. I am proud to take on the responsibility and I am ambitious about the future.

“Our company has a strong and well-established senior management team and amazing colleagues across the business. Everyone at Dexters has a deeply embedded growth gene, a set of values focused on customer service, quality standards and delivery that guide our actions, but most of all we have a desire to always be even better. I look forward to tapping into that desire and building on the strong foundation as we embark on the next phase of our growth journey.”
