Orchards Estates in South Somerset has extended its services to cover the west of the county, from Taunton and Bridgwater to Williton and Minehead.

The successful independent estate agency was established in 2014 serving Yeovil, Martock, South Petherton, Crewkerne, Ilchester, Chard, Ilminster and the surrounding villages. Within six months it claimed to outrank its competitors in terms of both the number of properties it takes to the market and the speed in which it sells them.

Owner, Mathew Wood, believes the agency’s success is down to its 24/7 approach. It’s sales and negotiation team is available any time of day or night for its clients, which is proving a winning formula.

Now, Orchards has extended its service to cover the whole of West Somerset, from Taunton to Minehead, with the appointment of licensed agent, Jeremy Darvill, who has 20 years’ experience in the industry. He was a property manager for a leading London estate agency before moving to the Westcountry to handle sales from Bristol to Bournemouth for a long established six-branch agency.

Jeremy said, “We operate half way between the traditional high street and the purely online call centre agencies, we have the South Somerset office and a team devoted to administration and sales progression. I have joined Orchards as a licensed agent for the West Somerset region, conducting valuations and viewings, sales negotiation and liaison with clients.”
