New partnership to ‘make deposit registration easier and quicker’

Agents will be able to directly access the DPS's services through the Yorlet platform, streamlining the process of deposit registration, protection and compliance.

Lettings platform Yorlet has integrated with The Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) to enhance cover and make compliance easier for its agent and property management clients.

The DPS is the UK’s largest protector of tenancy deposits and Yorlet says that the collaboration will make compliance with UK renting legislation easier and provide a broader range of choice for deposit protection.

PROTECT DEPOSITS

Yorlet is already integrated with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and says direct integration with the DPS will reduce the time and effort required to protect deposits as well as making it easier to manage compliance with UK tenancy deposit protection regulations.

David Hackett, Head of Business Development at the DPS, says: “We’re excited to work alongside Yorlet to make the process of deposit protection as seamless as possible for agents and property managers across the UK.

“Our shared goal is to use technology to enhance the deposit protection experience , and this integration is a big step forward in that direction.”

Max Cartwright (main picture), Chief Executive of Yorlet, says: “Partnering with DPS underscores our commitment to providing comprehensive, easy-to-use solutions that address the real-world challenges faced by today’s property professionals.

“This integration reduces time spent on registration and compliance for our customers, allowing them to focus on the things that drive their business.”

END-TO-END SOLUTIONS

Yorlet, which launched in March 2021, creates fully bespoke end-to-end solutions for each client rather than clients having to adapt ways of working to a rigid, off-the-shelf solution.

And in March this year the lettings platform surpassed £100 million in payments processed on behalf of its clients.

Cartwright adds: “Reaching the £100 million mark in processed payments is not just a testament to our platform’s reliability and efficiency but also to the trust that the UK’s property management professionals place in us.

“Yorlet is not just redefining how payments are processed in property management; it’s setting a new benchmark for what property professionals can expect from their software solutions.”
