Property manager and boyfriend found guilty of murder
Rachel Fulstow, who was employed by a property management company, is convicted with her boyfriend of killing her former lover.

A woman who worked for a property management company and her partner have been convicted of murder.
Rachel Fulstow, aged 37, from York, was found guilty despite claiming she was unaware her boyfriend planned to kill another man she had a one-night stand with.
The victim, Liam Smith, 38, was shot in the face and then had acid poured over him outside his home in Wigan, Greater Manchester, in November last year.
Fulstow and her partner, Michael Hillier from Sheffield, had planned the murder together after she claimed she had “non-consensual sex” with Smith in a hotel.
Abusive
Minshull Street crown court in Manchester (main picture) heard Fulstow met Smith on dating app Tinder, and the pair went on a date in York in 2019 before staying in a hotel that night.
In 2021, she began a relationship with Hillier, but said he could be verbally abusive, and was not happy she had a one-night stand with Smith.
She told the court she first knew of the attack on Smith when Hillier turned up at her house the following morning.
Petrified
Fulstow said she was “petrified” to go to police about her boyfriend. The court heard the couple went on holiday to Jamaica together days after the killing.
Hillier, who admitted he was involved in the production and distribution of cannabis, said they had both planned the attack on Smith after Fulstow disclosed she had been “graphically raped” by him.
Vigilante
He said: “We decided jointly between the two of us that we would deal with the matter ourselves and seek justice ourselves and go down the vigilante route.”
Fulstow was also found guilty of perverting the course of justice. Both Fulstow and Hillier were jailed for life. It was unclear which company she worked for.
