Estate agency consultancy releases first ever CRM guide

Kerfuffle has produced the first ever comprehensive guide to all the different CRMs in the lettings and estate agency sector.

Guide to CRMs

Kerfuffle has just released the very first CRM guide for the property industry which brings together all the suppliers that deliver what for most agents is their key piece of tech for their business.

Key tech

The guide takes an in-depth look at all their different offerings, their ratings and customer feedback, market share and how to choose which one is best for you, as well as advice from other agents.

One of the guide’s highlights is the market share stats. Simon Whale Chief Kerfuffler said getting them was: “Harder than you’d think given the famously secretive nature of suppliers willing to be open about their client bases.”

He then adds: “Alto unsurprisingly takes top spot in terms of market share, given ZPG’s collection of CRM systems over the years, their flagship product has clearly benefitted from upgrades from the different acquisitions it’s made.”

Whale points out though that when assessing the popularity of a CRM, user numbers are often just as significant as the number of branches using it.

Ultimately though as many have said to me size isn’t everything.”

Reapit, for example, has a respectable-sized client base of around 5,000 offices but has an far more impressive 25,000 users.

And Whale says: “Ultimately though as many have said to me size isn’t everything, and just as important as how widely used a system is, is how it looks after its existing clients and interestingly here on the CRM Leaderboard you have Reapit in 1st place, Veco in 2nd and Loop in 3rd.”
